The Housing Site Plan for Namacunde was held after the conclusion on the Village general land use plan, having followed its major orientations. Its propose was to create new residential areas to respond to present housing demand and future resettlement needs related with urban regeneration processes.
With good access from the main road and the village center and negligible human occupation, the main concern for the Plan was to preserve the most relevant natural elements, particularly the larger baobabs and other large trees that stand out in the local landscape.
